Automatic image correction in Photoshop
1. Open a photo that has contrast or color problems. The image below suffers from low contrast and has a slight red color cast.

2.Select Image > Duplicate and name the new image "auto levels". Choose Image > Duplicate again and name the secon duplicate "auto contrast". Select Image > Duplicate a third time and name this last image "Auto Color". You should now have a total of 4 image windows open, all with identical photographs.
3. Choose Window > Arrange > Tile so that each window takes up a quarter of the screen.

4. Click the "auto levels" image window to make it active. Next choose Image > Adjustments > Auto Levels. This improves the image quite a bit, but is this the best we can do? We'll need to try out more of the auto correction tools.
