How to create a professional logo in Photoshop


1. Create a new document with dimensions 500 x 100 pixels at 72 dpi





2.Select #E0BD5C for the foreground swatch color. Now type in the name of your company in any font you wish. In this tutorial we used Helvetica Neue at 72pt size.





3. Right click on layer 1 (the text layer) and select "rasterize layer "





4. Ctrl-Click on the layer to select its contents and go to Edit > Stroke. Use the stroke settings listed below: (the stroke color should be #5D0B0C).





5. Deselect using Ctrl+d. Now select Layer > Layer Style > Drop Shadow and use the following settings.
